Post Production

Post production on Mr. Jack is approached with the same discipline that governs the shoot: nothing imposed, everything in service of the performances.

The edit follows the logic of the fixed frame — restrained cutting, no movement manufactured in the cut that wasn't present on set. The formal order of the image is held through post so that the tension between what is seen and what is felt remains intact at delivery.

Sound Design

Sound Editing & Design — the sonic texture of New York City's Lower East Side is as much a character in this film as the actors. Sound design is built to preserve that specificity: the intimacy of a room, the pressure of a street, the silence that opens between two people who have run out of words.

Color

Color Grading — color is structured on a 60-30-10 palette designed to register emotionally below the threshold of conscious perception. The grade preserves that structure while bringing the film to international delivery standards.

Mr. Jack is being finished to meet the technical requirements of major festival submission and acquisition-ready delivery for theatrical, streaming, and international distribution.
