MR. JACK RECEIVES FISCAL SPONSORSHIP FROM, FROM THE HEART PRODUCTIONS

Tax-Deductible Donations Now Accepted for New York Independent Feature Film Currently in Production

MR JACK FILM LLC announced today that its independent narrative feature film Mr. Jack has been accepted into the fiscal sponsorship program of From the Heart Productions, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has helped filmmakers raise over $30 million dollars for independent films since 1993.


The fiscal sponsorship designation means that donations made to Mr. Jack are now tax-deductible under U.S. tax law. Donors may contribute by check made payable to From the Heart Productions, noting Mr. Jack on the memo line, or by credit card through the film's fundraising page.

Mr. Jack is currently in principal photography in New York City. Written and directed by Mick Lexington and adapted from his own novel, the film follows Val Shepherd, a failed painter who returns to New York's Lower East Side to reclaim his life and the woman he left behind — only to be drawn into the orbit of a charismatic, self-destructive artist whose world will cost them both everything.

The script has earned recognition at over eleven international festivals and competitions, achieving a selection rate of 55% against an industry average of 17%. Post-production is set at Twickenham Film Studios, UK.
