Based in Los Angeles, California, the Synergy Film Festival is an IMDb-qualifying international platform dedicated to connecting independent storytellers with industry professionals and distribution opportunities. The festival's distinguished jury includes producers, script consultants, directors, actors, and seasoned screenwriters, ensuring a rigorous and professional evaluation of every submission. Winners gain access to industry connections through the festival's partnership with InkTip, one of the leading screenplay marketplace platforms in the film industry.

Official Selection at the Synergy Film Festival extends Mr. Jack's recognition to the Los Angeles independent film community — adding a West Coast industry voice to the screenplay's growing international profile.

Mr. Jack is an independent drama written and directed by Mick Lexington, set in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The film tells the story of a failed painter who returns to New York to reclaim his life and the woman he left behind — only to be drawn into the orbit of a charismatic, self-destructive artist whose world will cost them both everything.

Principal photography is currently underway in New York City. Post-production will be completed in partnership with Twickenham Film Studios, UK.
