London International Screenwriting Competition — Semi-Finalist

screenplay for Mr. Jack has been named a Semi-Finalist at the London International Screenwriting Competition in the Best Original Screenplay category. The London International Screenwriting Competition is recognized as one of the world's most innovative screenwriting competitions, known for its rigorous and forward-thinking evaluation process. The competition combines expert professional analysis with emerging industry methodologies to assess scripts against the standards increasingly applied by producers, studios, and agents worldwide.

A Semi-Finalist placement at the London International Screenwriting Competition is a mark of distinction in a highly competitive global field — and a validation of Mr. Jack's screenplay as work that commands serious industry attention.

Mr. Jack is an independent drama written and directed by Mick Lexington, set in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The film tells the story of a failed painter who returns to New York to reclaim his life and the woman he left behind — only to be drawn into the orbit of a charismatic, self-destructive artist whose world will cost them both everything.

Mr. Jack is currently in pre-production, with principal photography scheduled to begin in New York City. Post-production will be completed in partnership with Twickenham Film Studios, UK.
