Paris Film Awards — Official Selection
Social Ammunition Films is proud to announce that the screenplay for Mr. Jack has been named an Official Selection at the Paris Film Awards in the Feature Script category.
The Paris Film Awards is an IMDb-qualifying international film festival with live screenings in the heart of Paris, France — a city synonymous with the highest traditions of world cinema. The festival has screened work featuring celebrated artists including Eric Roberts, Jeremy Irons, Malcolm McDowell, Terrence Howard, Jeremy Piven, and Bill Nighy, among others from around the world.
Official Selection at the Paris Film Awards places Mr. Jack in distinguished international company, recognizing the screenplay's merit on a global stage.
Mr. Jack is an independent drama written and directed by Mick Lexington, set in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The film tells the story of a failed painter who returns to New York to reclaim his life and the woman he left behind — only to be drawn into the orbit of a charismatic, self-destructive artist whose world will cost them both everything.
Mr. Jack is currently in pre-production, with principal photography scheduled to begin in New York City. Post-production will be completed in partnership with Twickenham Film Studios, UK.
